Baldy Bait glides cannot be modified and if cracked cannot be fixed. We can offer a replacement of an authentic Baldy Bait at a discounted rate.
Unlike traditional handcrafted lures made from resin or wood, we currently use a reinforced polycarbonate composite—an exceptionally tough plastic, though not completely indestructible. For buoyancy, we rely on air chambers instead of microballoons typically used in resin baits. Impacts, such as a miscast against a rock wall, can damage the bait. If you're concerned about protecting your Baldy Bait, consider using an alternative in those conditions.
We selected our materials and methods to achieve a low-density body comparable to softwoods—something resin with microballoon formulations cannot provide—while also delivering the precision and consistency that neither resin nor wood can match.
